A portable cinema camera is emerging as the headliner at the NAB Show in Las Vegas. The Blackmagic Design 4k Pocket Cinema Camera is light in weigh and looks similar in design to many mirrorless cameras. It produces full 4k frame resolution at 60 frames per second. For audio, it includes 4 built-in mics plus a mini XLR input with phantom power. it is set to retail at $1295.

Of course there’s lots of live streaming from NAB. In addition to the official event livestream with Jeff Adams, keep an eye out for broadcasts from live video production brands and services.

Yesterday, Andrew Haley provided a tour of Telestream Wirecast’s booth and shared some of the features he’s most excited about.

Today, Telestream’s Debralee Merchant will be on Facebook Live production panel.

LiveU is streaming multiple times a day from NAB, with a live show every evening. LiveU product manager Chris Perry is the host.

Switchboard Live is launching a partnership with Stretch Internet to livestream college sports to multiple social media and online streaming platforms. Stretch Internet provides streaming services for 650 colleges and universities in the US and Canada.
